Chester-le-Street

£14.24 per hour (including holiday pay)

Part-time – 5h evening shifts + 6h Saturday day shift


Fully funded Enhanced DBS

guaranteed hours available after successful

probation

About the Role


Routes Healthcare is seeking a Female Complex Care Assistant to provide 1-to-1 care in a client’s home. You will support individuals with learning disabilities challenging behaviour and complex health needs, helping them live safely, comfortably, and independently.


Key Responsibilities


  • Deliver person-centred care with dignity and respect
  • Support medication and clinical observations
  • Assist with nutrition and epilepsy (training provided)
  • Follow individual care plans
  • Maintain accurate care records
  • Work closely with families and healthcare professionals

Requirements


Essential

  • Minimum 6 months UK care experience
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship)
  • experience with challenging behaviour and none verbal clients
  • Reliable, compassionate, and professional

Desirable

  • Experience in complex care
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
