Complex care rotas need the right people, every shift.

You know that in complex care, filling a shift isn't enough. It has to be filled by someone trained and competent for that person. At Routes, our in-house recruitment team recruits every care worker we employ, and we have zero agency use, so you're building consistent teams rather than chasing cover.

The role

You'll coordinate care for our complex care service across Yorkshire using Access People Planner. Day to day, you'll:

  • Plan and manage rotas so every package is covered by suitably trained and competent staff.
  • Adapt rotas around staff availability, new packages and changing care needs.
  • Match care workers to packages based on client-specific training and competencies.
  • Work with the clinical team to arrange client-specific training and competency sign-off.
  • Liaise with families, case managers and commissioners about the care being delivered.
  • Make sure care workers attend meetings, supervisions and training within CQC-required timescales.
  • Support your Registered Manager to deliver a high-quality service.
  • Take part in the on-call rota, [one week in 4].

What you'll get

  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, and an extra day off for your birthday, from day one.
  • A buy and sell holiday scheme.
  • Central HR, Payroll, Quality, Marketing and IT teams behind you.
  • Digital Care Plans, so you're not chasing paperwork.
  • Career development through Routes Academy, [with a route into Care Manager / Registered Manager roles].
  • Pension scheme.
  • Employee Assistance Scheme for wellbeing and financial support.

What we're looking for

  • At least 12 months experience coordinating care and managing rotas.
  • A working understanding of CQC regulations.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills, and the confidence to lead a team of care workers.
  • An NVQ or Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is a bonus, but not essential.
