Job Description

INTIND

Care Coordinator – domiciliary care – Brighouse

£25,000 basic salary

Plus on-call pay of £3,300 per annum (up to £28,300 a year in total)

£250 monthly bonus based on service performance

Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Based at our Brighouse office HD6 4AB

Ready to step up from care into coordination?

If you've worked in care and want to move into an office-based role, we'll train you to coordinate care and manage rotas. You'll also have the staff to fill them: our in-house recruitment team recruits every care worker we employ, and we have zero agency use.

The role

You'll coordinate care across Kirklees using Access People Planner. Day to day, you'll:

  • Schedule and coordinate care visits.
  • Adapt rotas around staff availability, new service users and changes to existing care runs.
  • Make sure care workers attend meetings, supervisions and training within CQC-required timescales.
  • Support your Registered Manager to deliver a high-quality service.
  • Take part in the on-call rota, [one week in 4].

What you'll get

  • Training in care coordination and rota management.
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, and an extra day off for your birthday, from day one.
  • A buy and sell holiday scheme.
  • Central HR, Payroll, Quality, Marketing and IT teams behind you.
  • Digital Care Plans, so you're not chasing paperwork.
  • Career development through Routes Academy, [with a route into Care Manager / Registered Manager roles].
  • Pension scheme.
  • Employee Assistance Scheme for wellbeing and financial support.

What we're looking for

  • Experience working in care. Rota or coordination experience is welcome but not essential.
  • An understanding of CQC regulations.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills, and the confidence to work with a team of care workers.
  • A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle.
  • An NVQ or Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is a bonus, but not essential.
